Sin embargo,&nbsp;<strong>un equipo de investigadores de la Universidad de Stanford podr\u00eda haber ido mas lejos.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los investigadores han ideado un m\u00e9todo te\u00f3rico para manipular la radiaci\u00f3n de calor con el fin de aumentar el enfriamiento.&nbsp;<strong>En pocas palabras, creen que hacer que un objeto irradie calor de manera adicional, es una nueva forma de mantener frio un chip.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Empecemos con lo b\u00e1sico, el calor se irradia dentro y fuera de un dispositivo a trav\u00e9s de fotones. Todos los objetos, como los chips de las computadoras, irradian calor cuando se usan, adem\u00e1s de recibir calor del ambiente que lo rodea. Por lo general, las soluciones de enfriamiento de las computadoras funcionan tratando de enfriar el entorno alrededor del hardware, disipando el calor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los investigadores de Stanford han ideado un dispositivo, llamado&nbsp;<strong>\u2018generador fot\u00f3nico\u2019<\/strong>&nbsp;que se colocar\u00eda en la superficie de un objeto, aumentando la frecuencia de los fotones radiados y, por lo tanto, permitiendo que cada fot\u00f3n se lleve m\u00e1s calor. Entran fotones con baja energ\u00eda, salen fotones con alta energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El dispositivo en s\u00ed mismo ser\u00eda un aislante de calor que podr\u00eda ser envuelto en finas capas alrededor del hardware de un PC. Junto con una fuente de luz, har\u00eda vibrar los fotones de calor y causar\u00eda que el chip irradiara m\u00e1s calor hacia el exterior, enfriando el dispositivo de manera m\u00e1s efectiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En esencia, lo que estamos viendo aqu\u00ed es una inversi\u00f3n del tradicional intercambio de calor entre objetos de hardware.
